Arrive to a warm and festive welcome, and once you have had time to settle into your room join us for a traditional Full Afternoon Tea in our Monmouth and Reception Lounges, a chance to meet your fellow guests and some of the team who will be taking care of you for the coming days. In the evening we invite you to just sit back and enjoy a sparkling cocktail and canapes. You will then be shown through to our Oak Room Restaurant for a wonderful candlelit dinner prepared by our chefs, under the watchful eye of Brigitta Kordik, our Restaurant Manager.
Midnight Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, and upon your return to the hotel, mulled wine and minced pies will be served in front of the roaring log fire of The Inn.
After a restful night’s sleep, awake on Christmas morning and prepare yourself for this special day with our excellent Dorset Breakfast.
Later we invite you to indulge in a Bucks Fizz reception followed by a Traditional four course Christmas Day Luncheon with musical accompaniment from our pianist. During the afternoon join us for freshly brewed tea or coffee and a slice of Christmas cake by the roaring fire in the historic Inn, and in the evening an informal Buffet Supper will be served in The Inn. This will be another chance just to relax and enjoy the company of your fellow guests.
Another new day starting with a leisurely breakfast; then the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. Why not explore the local area, taking in the breath-taking visual beauty of the ancient coastline and wildlife, or alternatively, you may choose to relax with a swim in our 45ft swimming pool, or with a book in front of the log fire, and forget the outside world. As the evening draws in experience a delightful seasonal menu, prepared by our head chef and the kitchen team.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we bid you a fond farewell as you depart.
Alternatively, make the most of your festive break and stay with us for a few additional nights, special rates are available on request.
