Functions

The Royal Lion Hotel is the perfect location for your special function or private dining, with three of our rooms available for hire. The Oak Room Restaurant is the pièce de résistance, offering a grand beautiful oak paneled room on the first floor. We can cater for a sit down function up to 90 people and 110 people for a buffet. This room is available for afternoon use only and must be vacated by 5pm.

The Monmouth Lounge is ideal for smaller parties up to 40 people for a buffet or 20 people for a sit down function. This room is at the front of the hotel on the ground floor, looking out at picturesque Lyme Regis.

The Blue Room, set just off of the Oak Room, with stunning views of the Golden Cape, is also available, seating up to 30 people or 50 people for a buffet - we can also offer a private bottle bar in this room.
