The Royal Lion Hotel is the perfect location for your Christmas festivities, with a range of special events to help you celebrate that magical time of year.

Spend Christmas with us at the Royal Lion Hotel, with our 3 night residential package; arriving on Christmas Eve for an evening of Christmas carols, setting the mood for Christmas Day, when a traditional Christmas lunch is served. On Boxing Day, start with a leisurely brunch, before our candlelight wine tasting dinner in the restaurant. For those of you who sadly have to leave us on the 27th December, enjoy a hearty breakfast to see you on your way.

We also welcome you to spend New Year with us, arriving 30th December, and including our gala black tie New Year's Eve ball in the Oak Room, with dancing until 1am. On New Year’s Day, enjoy a leisurely late breakfast, before sadly leaving us on 2nd January or stay for an extra night.

We also offer Festive Dining available from 1st to 24th December in the Oak Room Restaurant, featuring cocktails and atraditional 3 course Christmas lunch, accompanied by table novelties and tea/coffee. We also welcome non-residents to join us for Christmas Day lunch or our New Year Eve gala black tie ball.
